LJ 8-16 May 2026  …We’ve just had a week at this lovely cottage. It was immaculately clean, nice garden and handy for local shops and for further outings . It had everything we needed, having a washing machine was a real bonus. Our golden retriever loved meeting and greeting the locals and the walks right from the front door. We highly recommend it

Youlgrave is a a true haven for walkers, with three long-distance footpaths passing directly through it: the Limestone Way, White Peak Way, and the Alternative Pennine Way. 

Pumpkin Cottage is  cosy and welcoming. Centrally heated throughout. We have a fully enclosed rear garden  with nice patio area—  perfect for dogs and children

Our lounge/ dining room features original beams, two comfortable sofas, a dining table and chairs, and for snug evenings in,  a gorgeous log burner.  The kitchen also has original beams  and is well equipped with everything you will need.   An adjacent outbuilding   houses a washing machine and provides secure storage for bikes.

Stairs from the kitchen lead to a central landing with two double bedrooms   and  a modern bathroom with bath & shower. 

Pumpkin Cottage has Good Wifi & our TV is Sky Go

We provide good quality towels and duvets . Our bedding is 100% cotton. 

Pumpkin Cottage is a relaxing and characterful home-from-home—ideal for walkers, cyclists, couples and  families.  Basically  anyone  who is looking to enjoy the beauty of the Peak District in comfort.
