Nestled on the hillside just above the meeting point of Lathkill Dale and Bradford Dale, Pumpkin Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage full of character, dating back over 200 years. It offers the perfect base for exploring everything the Peak District has to offer.

Youlgrave is a lovely village and a true haven for walkers, with three long-distance footpaths passing directly through it: the Limestone Way, White Peak Way, and the Alternative Pennine Way. For those who enjoy open-air swimming, the village also boasts its own “wild” outdoor pool in Bradford Dale, just a five-minute walk from the cottage.

The Cottage

Pumpkin Cottage is warm, comfortable, and well equipped. It benefits from central heating and a fully enclosed garden with patio furniture—making it safe for both children and dogs.

The cosy lounge/dining room features original beams, two comfortable sofas, a dining table and chairs, and a log burner for snug evenings in.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need, including an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, and more. An adjacent outbuilding houses a washing machine and provides secure storage for bikes.

Stairs from the kitchen lead to a central landing with two double bedrooms and access to a modern bathroom.
